Q. What inspired your tote bag design?  

“I found my inspiration in the beautiful aesthetics of your brand, as well as a personal memory from my childhood. I remember how my mother taught me to cross-stitch and how proud I felt each time I got it right. That memory—filled with warmth, love, and connection—became the heart of my design.”

Q. Did any of our products inspire your design?  

“Yes! I was inspired by the Embroidered French Lace Decorative Pillow and the Mixed Gingham Bedding Set.”

Q. If you could choose a celebrity to carry your tote bag, who would it be and why?  

“Aurora, the singer from Norway. She’s a sweet and sensitive person who I think would appreciate the story and emotion behind the illustration.”

Marina’s work is a tribute to moments of intimacy, like quiet afternoons in a seamstress’s home. Every element of her design, from the detailed stitching to the cozy atmosphere it evokes, reflects the emotional core of craftsmanship.

Q. Tell us about your design inspiration! What story does your art convey?

"This design captures the essence of the timeless home. Enduring objects from past ages, important mementos, and most importantly the friendships that gives it all meaning. This at the heart, represents not only the story of Everlasting Fabric but the a human story of perennial connection."

Q. What inspires you, your creative journey, or your favorite mediums?

"I’m inspired by great American storytellers like James Cameron who bring their imaginations alive from the pencil to the digital screen by working with a huge creative team. This process of collaborating with a diverse range of different people to create a human connection with the world is what makes Art special. My favorite mediums would be wherever most people go: TikTok, Youtube, and Film Screenings. Drawing is a personal passion to me but videos would be the medium that I would want to express myself in, since that’s where all the people are."

Q. What’s one surprising or hidden detail in your design that people might not notice at first glance?  

“Though the appearance is slightly different, the pattern on the fabric I chose was inspired by Everlasting’s Vintage Inspired Floral Duvet Cover in Beige.”

Q. If your tote bag could speak, what message would it share with the world?  

“That natural fabric rocks!!”

Q. What’s one thing you hope people feel or think when they see your design?  
  “I hope they see the imperfections in the drawing because I hand-drew most of it. It was never meant to be perfect; it was meant to reflect how artisans put their human soul into their work. Instead of a signature, you see marks of a being, an artist.”

Q. What inspired your tote bag design?  
 “A good mix of Art Nouveau, architecture, and colors. I wanted something noticeable and unique, but also timeless.”

“Feminine, nostalgic, and soft.”

“My design reflects those values by keeping it soft, simple, and timeless. The flowers give it a natural, earthy vibe that ties into sustainability and being kind to the environment. I wanted it to feel calm and long-lasting, like something you would continuously use without going out of style.”

• Creative Process: From Concept to Creation

Q: How did you develop your design?

A: "I like to find my creative process by going to the root of what the brand stands for. It stands for longevity, handmade quality. I wanted to showcase that through raw materials like cottonwood, the infinite symbol, and a time sandbox."

Q: What were the hidden details in the design?

"The palette represents the sky and sun, which give birth to plants. I wanted to bring in the natural aspect of the product's essence."

Q: When did you know you wanted to be an artist?

A: "I was always sitting in a corner with a sketchbook and pencil. I realized that as much as I love being an artist, I wanted to give my art to people. Design became my channel for sharing creativity."

Q: What message do you want to convey?

A: "We are living in a generation with a short attention span. But if you're buying an everlasting product, you want to cherish it. The more you look at it, the more stories emerge. My message is: slow down, have a look, try to think about things, sit in the moment."

A: "Playful, personalization, and identity. In a world where trends are globalized, I want to create something that helps people find their unique identity. Design is not just about creating; it's about telling a story that makes people pause and reflect."
