KPop Demon Hunter Bedroom Vibes: Neon Glow Pillows & Dark Satin Sheets
This summer we were hit with one of the most amazing animated movies that’s ever been released on Netflix, and no we’re not talking about the old ones, we’re talking about ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ from Sony Animations. The movie was not only filled with humorous dialogue and imagery, but also stunning graphics that show off different aesthetics that are relevant in the Kpop industry. For our main characters, members of the Kpop girl group HUNTR/X, we have the typical glamorous and neon vibes, a futuristic style with a little bit of femininity sprinkled in for the girl crush concept that they were going for. Many of their costumes and make up throughout the movie consisted of golden, bright and sparkling materials, making them have this sleek and futuristic style that reminds you a little of satin and silk.
If you feel like you’ve grown out of your current style and are looking into more Kpop vibes, then this is your stop. In this article we’ll discuss several ways you can create a satin and silk look that matches the Kpop Demon Hunter girls’ aesthetics. We’ll not only go into their general look as a group, but also look into each of the individual members' styles and how we can bring that out in your room. And as a special treat, we’ll also discuss a briefly at the end about how we can style your room based on each Kpop song HUNTR/X has sung.

HUNTR/X: The KPop Girl Crush Room
As a general consensus, I’m sure we would be big fans of HUNTR/X if they were a real Kpop girl group and that anything they’d wear or use would become trendy. Although there isn’t much in the movie that shows what daily things or items they use, we can deduce from the colour schemes of their performances and character designs, and take inspiration from them to create the KPop Demon Hunter aesthetic room.
As said in the introduction of this article, the general consensus is that HUNTR/X fits into the Kpop girl crush concept and as such we’re looking into darker colours with neon or gold standing out to complement those colours. Furthermore, using dark satin sheets is definitely a goto for that luxurious Kpop idol aesthetic, which is constantly seen throughout the show’s background and settings.

Rumi: the Kpop It Girl
In the movie, Rumi has been described as the “it girl” of the group, the center, the main vocalist AND the main character. If these are the type of vibes you’re looking for in your room, then here are some tips to help you be the KPop it girl:
Wearing satin or silk pajamas or loungewear
Using purple accents to mimic Rumi’s demon patterns
Working with mostly dark colours that complement with purple
With all this in mind, make sure to emphasize purple accents with something silky or shiny to enhance that Kpop it girl vibe.
Be the Kpop IT Girl with these:
Mira: the KPop Baddie
As the baddie and main dancer of the group, Mira reflects the Kpop bad girl vibes that certainly complements the girl crush concept. On top of using a lot of dark red and warm colours, complementing it with hints of metallic shades is a great way to make your room Kpop baddie worthy. As Mira is also the dancer of the group, it should also be noted that you want comfortable pajamas and loungewear, and this means loose breathable pants or sweats. While we don’t have much silk or satin for those loungewear, we do have some of them in dark colours that you should totally check out to complete your Kpop baddie look.
Be the bad girl in K-pop:
Zoey: the Kpop Happy Virus
Every Kpop girl group is never complete without the cute happy virus that balances out all the baddie and popular girl vibes. Even as we are swamped with the dark and cool colours of the stage, there’s never a bad time to insert a little bit of light in there. This is where using lighter colours like yellow or gold comes in to complement the silk and satin darkness of Mira and Rumi. With Zoey, you want to make sure that these gold shades pop off as much as it accentuates not just dark Kpop energy but also the light Kpop energy.
If you’re looking to spice up your room in a way that fits the Kpop happy virus aesthetic try some of these:

Your Room Based on HUNTR/X Songs
From ‘How It’s Done’ to ‘This is What it Sounds Like’, the HUNTR/X discography never fails to deliver to us the girl boss Kpop vibes to the table. With each of the songs having their own coloured themes, here are some ways you can decorate your room based on each song’s vibes:
‘How It’s Done’ – serving as the intro of the movie, this should have mainly dark satin with a fluorescent purple or pink highlights
‘Golden’ – the girl’s comeback song, reminiscent of a more ballad feel that is present in KPop, where it’s more elegant. Unlike the entry, this one has more light colours so ditch the dark colours if you’re thinking of going for this song’s vibes.
‘Takedown’ – back to the Kpop baddie aesthetic, this definitely has a lot of black, silk or satin involved.
‘This is What it Sounds Like’ – the climax and resolving arc of the movie, also serves more of an ending but like ‘Golden’ it has more of a light theme to it. Preferably light violet and bright silky materials to bring out the theme of this song.
