Speaking from experience, I have spent many a girls night making late night runs together to pick up chocolate and a fun drink and jamming to popular favourite hype girl music on the way. Speaking of jamming to some tunes, a playlist with some favourite hits running in the background may even spark a spontaneous karaoke or lip sync battle on your special girls night. 

A girls night can't be complete without laughs and a few tears. Voting on a movie to quite the evening with can sometimes be a tough task, but I find that sticking to the rom com genre guaranties a popular supply of options. Pop some popcorn, pour the soda or other drink of choice, and get comfy with pyjamas and a comfy blanket. If you are feeling extra fun, you can even construct a floor bed with piles of blankets and pillows!

Now when it comes to the proper attire for a girl's night in, who's to say we can't have options! In fact, why not pack a change of clothes and plan for two outfits in one night: something classy and something comfy. You can plan to start the evening off in a nice dress, pretty top over a pair of jeans, or other fun and personalized ensemble, then as the night moves on you can change into something comfy and cozy, perfect to curl up on the couch in. 

If this girl's night doesn't end at midnight but continues until the early hours and ends with a delicious breakfast or yummy brunch, then let's make this evening a proper slumber party. Let me preface this first by saying that a group of friends are never to old to have a proper girl's slumber party. Now with this in mind, turning the night into a pyjama party is the perfect way to take your girls night to the next level. Tell your friends to pack their overnight bags, bring a face mask, slippers, and favourite pillow!

As you begin to plan your perfect girl's night for you and your friends, don't worry yourself to much about planning a 'fun' night. Let it come naturally, and let the night evolve. Now some planning is helpful, and structure never hurts, but lets throw a schedule out the window and try to live in the moment as best as possible. Keeping in mind certain activities you would like to do, and opening space for suggestions will allow the evening to naturally flow, and for you and your friends to feel relaxed. Send the invite at least a week in advance to give everyone time to make arrangements, and feel free to ask your friends to bring a beverage and snack to share. Girls Night should be a fun and exciting evening, so put all other stress and thoughts aside, and live in the moment with your best girlfriends!

In terms of sizing, most college dorms have Twin XL beds. In that case, we recommend going with a small size bed set and flat sheet.
